Join this growing firm in a key role. As a Production Accountant you will have ten plus years progressive production accounting experience, CAPPA certification and must have a minimum of three years SAGD accounting. You will be deadline driven, a strong team player and have exceptional communication skills. Those with SAP software will be given preference.
Description:
Our client, an International Oil and Gas company is seeking a Production Accountant to join their Oilsands Accounting Team. Reporting to the Manager, Oilsands Accounting the duties of the Production Accountant will include but not be limited to: working closely with the representatives from the vendor and corporate head office to implement the Energy Components, production revenue and royalty modules, configure and test the Energy Component System for it's roll out and readiness in mid 2010, manage all fixed data requirements within the system as operations evolve in 2010, ensure data is gathered and all monthly data entry and reporting requirements are completed and meet corporate and regulatory deadlines, manage all aspects of daily interface with AEUB and the registry, work with operations, marketing and other functions to continually improve processes, procedures and communications with in the production/revenue function, ensure material balance of bitumen, diluents, water/steam and natural gas are completed and maintained on an ongoing basis, metering difference are maintained and tolerances established in the projects approval documents, ensure monthly vouchers are passed into SAP and other duties as assigned.
