Environmental Hydrogeologist

Reporting to the manager, Geotechnical Engineering, the Environmental Hydrogeologist is responsible for overseeing groundwater projects associated with Oil Sands Operations. Projects may include groundwater quality studies, groundwater and surface water interactions or projects related to start-up and closure of operations.
 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide technical leadership to a consulting team
  • Project manage simultaneous projects included schedule and cost management
 
Qualification Requirements:
  • A degree in Hydrogeology with particular experience related to Environmental Hydrogeology
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with well rounded experience with some background in consulting is preferred
  • Must be willing to work and be a key contributor in a dynamic team environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must have a valid drivers licence
