Welder (B Pressure)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift
Salary: $38.96 Hourly for 80 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Ft. McMurray, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice, Welder Red Seal Endorsement, Pressure Welding Certification
Experience: No experience
- Languages: Read English, Write English
- Major Work Area: Maintenance/repair
- Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial
- Welding Techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG)
- Welding Positions: All positions
- Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications
- Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
- Work Site Environment: Outdoors
