Maintenance Civil Engineers for the immediate opening in Ft. McMurray
Description of Accountability:
- Reporting to the Senior Reliability Specialist, the Reliability Specialist (Civil/Structural) will be responsible for data analysis, field studies and engineering support for various internal / external departments. The Reliability Specialist’s responsibilities include:
- Monitor performance trends of exiting / new facility buildings, roads and grounds, and identify reliability issues
- Develop and implement reliability improvement programs in conjunction with cross-functional teams
- Review facilities history, condition assessment and failure analysis to generate Key Performance Indicator reports
- Monitor improvement program implementation through field measurements and assessments to measure progress
- Develop expertise in reliability engineering techniques as apply as appropriate
- Provide guidelines to teams to complete scope of work, preparation of reports etc.
- Work with multi-discipline teams on existing and new Buildings, Facilities, roads, grounds and bridges
- Provide reliability engineering assistance to various project groups in the organization
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Civil Engineering degree with minimum 5-7 years of related experience
- Reliability / engineering, experience in engineering design and maintenance of facility buildings, roads, grounds and bridges
- Strong knowledge of National and International building codes and standards
- Working Knowledge of Project and Facility Management.
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidate must be a member or eligible for membership with APEGGA
