Welding Inspector Lead - Certified Level 2

Reporting to the Senior Quality Control Inspector Lead for our Wear Technologies Business Unit, this position is responsible for maintaining quality standards and assuring overall compliance for the products manufactured at two facilities, in accordance with the International Standards (ISO) and other regulatory bodies such as ABSA, ASME, and CWB. This person will review work orders, conduct visual and dimensional inspections of products at all areas in the manufacturing process, and report non-conformance. The successful incumbent will have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and must have CSA W178.2 Level 2 Welding Inspector certification with knowledge of ASME B31.3 and ISO 9000 Quality Systems. The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, blueprints and MTRs is a must. Supervisory experience is required. Strong communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with demanding deadlines also required. Good computer skills also needed.
