Labourer / Operator Trainee
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
[Company] is currently seeking responsible individuals wanting career opportunities. We are looking for entry level laborers to work as Industrial Cleaning Operator Trainees. There are advancement opportunities for those who excel in their proven abilities and self motivation to complete the required training.
This position involves working along side our high pressure water equipment and vacuum truck operators, in and around heavy equipment machinery, in large industrial facilities such as refineries and paper and power industries. Your duties will be diversified and vary based on the project and the requirements of operators. General responsibilities will include aiding in the operation and maintenance of our pumping units and specialty tools.
Required Minimum Qualification:
- Comfortable with heights, confined spaces and supplied air
- Mechanically inclined
- Flexible schedule and able to work day or night shifts, weekend and travel may also be required
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
- Self-motivated
- Comfortable with heavy lifting
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol test is a requirement
- Possess a class 5 license (not a mandatory requirement but preferred)
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior industrial or site experience
- Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
- Will adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations and with various groups and individuals
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- You demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to health and safety

Comprehensive training will be provided to our successful candidates. You are responsible for getting to and from our Fort Saskatchewan shop but transportation is provided to and from job sites.
