Planner / Scheduler
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
[Company] is seeking a highly motivated and professional individual for the position of Planner/Scheduler based in Fort McMurray. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing timelines, estimating costs, and setting both priorities and schedules. [Company] is a fast paced business with a priority on developing and maintaining positive customer relations.
 
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
  • Liaison with customers, subcontractors, engineers/project managers, production & internal staff
  • Assisting in the preparation and coordination of project schedules
  • Monitoring, reviewing and analyzing schedules and status of contractors during all phases of project
  • Analysis of any schedule deviations and taking corrective action when required
  • Complete daily progress reporting
  • Prepare field level work packages
  • Ensure each project team has the information required to perform the task required
 
Required Minimum Qualification:
  • Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling
  • Trade designation (electrical or instrumentation)
  • Primavera experience
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of applications
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to schedule and track multiple projects from conception to completion
  • Proven organizational skills
 
Ideal Candidate:
  • Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
  • Prior experience with planning and or scheduling in same or related industry
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test is required
  • You demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to health and safety
