High Pressure Water Equipment Operator
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
[Company] is looking for 6-10 reliable, disciplined Operators. Located on the Suncor site in Fort McMurray, you will be responsible for the hands on operation of manual and automated high pressure water washing equipment.
Your duties will also include:
- Operation and maintenance of pumping units and or specialty tools
- Acting as a liaison with clients to ensure that equipment is set up according to company policies and procedures
- Guaranteeing job requirements are met and that company policies and procedures are enforced on the job site
- Ensuring that all equipment and material are returned to the proper areas in the unit and or truck daily
Required Minimum Qualification:
- Overtime and flexibility in shifts is required based on site needs (occasional night shifts)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
- Mechanically inclined
- Self-motivated
- Comfortable with confined spaces and heights
- Heavy lifting required
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol test required
Ideal Candidate:
- Possess a class 1 or class 3 licence
- Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
