Maintenance Engineer
Job description
We have big expansion plans for our Alberta operations. Along with big plans, comes big opportunity. You will play a crucial role in achieving our goal of becoming a leading producer in the Alberta oilsands.
ACTIVITIES
- Support ongoing operations in both the maintenance and capital projects execution functions. Routine interfaces with Operations and contractors. Perform criticality survey, design and manage maintenance programs, define stock management procedures. Confirm plant operation conforms with TEP requirements. Performs capacity and efficiency studies and implements recommendations. Duties will also include:
- Scope, plan and execute minor capital projects on existing plant facilities
- Support Operations in maintenance planning and scoping maintenance work
- Perform failure analysis on equipment
- Develop criticality process and maintenance planning process.
- Perform inspections and supervision of maintenance workers
- Support integration of existing facilities into future expansions
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide guidance to field operations
- Ensure reporting requirements are satisfied
- Ensure all Total HSE guidelines are adhered to in field activities and design.
Education :
- P.Eng with 4 to 7 years experience or CET with 7-10 years with producer or engineering firm
Experience :
- P.Eng with 4 to 7 years experience or CET with 7-10 years with producer or engineering firm
Skills :
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Good report writing skills
