Structural Designer (Intermediate)

Our company is a division of Colt WorleyParsons Engineering Corporation, Canada's largest engineering contractor experienced in the hydrocarbon industry.
Our client is Syncrude, the world's largest producer of light sweet crude oil from oil sand.

Responsibilities:
You will design and draft preliminary and detailed engineering drawings involving structural steel and reinforced concrete. Other responsibilities include conducting field surveys and preparing as-built drawings, designing and detailing new components from previous designs, implementing the preparation of specifications, design computations, drawings, models and performing calculations.
Qualifications:
Graduation from a technical school and 6 to 10 years experience in structural design/drafting. Experience in Microstation is required. Positions may be based in Edmonton or Fort McMurray and candidates must be willing to travel to Fort McMurray as required.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. CoSyn offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
