Piping Designers (Intermediate and Senior)
Responsibilities
You will provide piping design expertise involving planning and layouts for piping/mechanical installations and will be required to conduct field visits and prepare as-built drawings. You will work within a 3D model environment and interface with other disciplines. Primary responsibilities include producing complicated drawings and charts in a specialized field involving planning, layout and bill of materials for major installations. Other responsibilities include designing and detailing new components from previous designs and developing layouts requiring theoretical and practical designs in a specialized field area.       
 
Qualifications
Graduation from a technical school in a related field. Intermediate Piping Designers will have 6 to10 years previous design experience; Senior Piping Designers will have 6+ years experience and may mentor Junior Designers. Experience in Microstation is preferred. Positions are based in Edmonton and candidates must be willing to travel to Fort McMurray as required.
