Openings exist within Upgrading and Extraction for fully qualified Steamfitters to assist in integrating the new plants as they come on stream in the coming months as well as maintaining the existing plants.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid Alberta Journey certified or Interprovincial "Red Seal" Pipefitter/Steamfitter ticket
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED)
Preference will be given to those with knowledge and experience in the maintenance of industrial equipment preferably in an oil and gas environment.
Other desirable assets include:
- Trade and equipment related training
- Good verbal and written skills
- Ability to work safely with minimum supervision.
