Process Control Engineer
Job Description:
Location: Fort McMurray
Our client is a major energy company with proven operating expertise and is very proud of their reputation for being an outstanding corporate citizen. Our client is currently recruiting for their large scale Oil Sands Project.
The Process Control Engineer is an expert in process control applications on the DeltaV DCS and SIS Systems.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide process control and field instrumentation support.
- Control systems applications configuration maintenance and enhancements;
- The development of junior staff and counsel to Operations on control system issues;
- Provide module design / layout and pre-commissioning support.
Requirements:
- Process control and advanced control engineering specialization with a chemical or electrical engineering degree is highly desired;
5+ years plant site experience in an upgrader, oil refinery or similar hydrocarbo
