On-Boarding Coordinator

We specialize in large, complex, integrated industrial/mechanical/electrical projects. Our projects involve construction of oil sands processing facilities, refinery expansions, gas plant expansions, co-generation facilities, major mine developments, spool fabrication facilities and SAGD facilities.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Set up Drug Testing appointments with 3rd party
  • Coordinate flight travel for New Hires with Site Travel Department
  • Prepare a New Arrival Plan for New Hires
  • Deliver New Hire Presentation
  • Liaise with On-Site New Hire contacts for a New Hire¿s arrival
  • Order New Hire promotional products
  • Set-up Construction Safety Training in the Calgary Area Office
  • Conduct 1wk and 4wk follow-up interviews with New Hires
  • Report 1wk and 4 wk results to management on a monthly basis
  • Report New Hire on-boarding numbers to HR Recruiting Manager
  • Provide Benefit Administration; Enroll, Terminate and activate Benefit changes, mail out Benefit pkgs.
  • Provide  administrative support to HR Department as required 
Qualifications 
  • Organized, ability to balance various priorities
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-Motivated & Dedicated
  • Interested in Human Resources, preferably Diploma or Degree in HR.
