Project Safety Coordinator
Job Summary
Our Industrial Division is currently seeking a Project Safety Coordinator to join their Fort McMurray team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Safety Manager, the Project Safety Coordinator is accountable to work closely with the Field Team to ensure compliance with regulations, project safe work practices and procedures, and good housekeeping. The element of Safety is the key area for which the Project Safety Coordinator has responsibility. The Safety Coordinator provides support to the Project Safety Manager and Project Manager in completing the Heath, Safety and Environmental Protection requirements of a project successfully.
Requirements
As the ideal candidate you have a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry with a focus on Health and Safety and a CSO or CRSP designation. In addition to your technical skills, you will possess superior communication skills (written and oral) as well as a proven ability to understand the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases of an Industrial project.
