Project Coordinator: 4 positions
Job Summary
Our Industrial Division is seeking Project Coordinators, Piping, Rigging, Scaffolding and Structural, for its Fort McMurray location.
Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager in all aspects of project management including entering change orders; preparing holdback packages; subcontractor management; set up of job costing systems and progress monitoring; preparation of estimates, and general office duties and scheduling. You will work with a diverse range of individuals including sub trades, architects, owners, project staff and branch leadership to complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have relevant experience or post-secondary education such as a diploma in Building Technology or an Engineering degree. Excellent organizational skills are necessary, as is a strong computer background including experience with MS Word and Excel. You should demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and possess excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with JD Edwards, MS Project, Expedition, and/or previous construction experience would be an asset
