We are currently seeking Certified Level II NDT Technicians, to perform various nondestructive testing methods supporting the oil and gas industry. This great career opportunity offers a 28 day work rotation including excellent benefits, paid accommodation and travel, and a guarantee of 10 hours per day (Overtime as per QCCC). A Typical work week will be 40 (ST), 10 (OT1) and 20 (OT2). All applicants must be CGSB Certified, and have the ability to work on a full time rotational basis with the willingness to travel. The successful candidates will be responsible for working on various projects utilizing their technical skills in the areas desired by the client.
Non rotational full time opportunities in various CGSB, API, CSA W178.2 certifications are also available across Canada
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
- CGSB Certification preferably in RT2 or UT2, however other combinations of NDT methods/certifications are accepted
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using ultrasonic, radiographic, and other nondestructive testing methods
- Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
- Ability/willing to travel
- Good work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to constant change
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
Required Training:
- OSSA Fall Protection
- OSSA Confined Space Entry and Monitor
- H2S
- CSTS
Training also provided. Candidates will be required to actively participate in the Company’s Quality and Safety programs
This is a Union Position (Quality Control Council of Canada) you will be required to be a member in good standing.
