Recruitment Researcher
We are the largest Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management organization in Canada, with offices across Canada and the world. The Chemicals and Petroleum Business Unit in Calgary is recruiting for a variety of large projects in response to the tremendous growth we have experienced in the past year. Our client base includes over 1000 employees, consultants and temporary staff.
The CPBU is searching for a Recruitment Researcher. As the sourcing specialist, you will provide support to the recruitment team in their daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Write and place job descriptions in a variety of media (internet, corporate job site, etc.)
- Liaison with corporate advertising company for newspaper ads.
- Assist recruiters in the search for and pre-selection of candidates for current open positions
- Review resumes of different skill sets and determine if they are qualified candidates
- Research and source competitor companies/industries for resources
- Issue updates for reports used to monitor routine and special project recruitment initiatives
- Contact candidates for interviews, update their profiles and if required, inform them of decisions concerning the recruitment process
- Act as the recruitment team's intermediary to external and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree/Certificate in Human Resources, or any other pertinent field
- 2 years of relevant experience in database mining of resumes
- EPC experience is an asset
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent oral and written skills
