Production Accountant (Property Analyst)
The Upstream Accounting department has an opportunity for a Property Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting and analysis of production, revenue, royalties and contract service fees as well as learning the new production system PAS.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Prepare all production reports as required for assigned area and report to management, regulatory agencies and partnerships.
- Financial and operational analysis of assigned areas.
- Active and continuous partnership with field operators, land department and engineers.
- Management of contract services, crown and non-crown royalties.
- Data integrity for assigned area.
- Maintenance of receivable and payable accounts.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have:
- A Business Degree or post secondary diploma in Business/Accounting
- A minimum of 2 years' production accounting experience in either Alberta, BC or Saskatchewan
- Strong PC skills and proficiency in Production Accounting Applications
- The ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to apply new information quickly
- The ability to be a forward thinking team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
