Software Developer
We are looking for experienced Software Developers to join our team. We anticipate several projects that will run through 2008 and beyond, one of the projects that we are staffing for is a Materials Management Solution. This solution will provide the intelligence for purchasing, expediting and inventory control for a $500M engineering project. The solution will consolidate data from several custom and proprietary systems in order to provide intelligent reports to several stakeholder groups. This solution is Java based and integrates with SQL Server and MySQL databases as well as proprietary 3rd party products.
Key Requirements
Technical Skills
- Ability to develop all aspects of a relationaldatabase backed application;
- Experience with systems integration;
- Experience with a major RDBMS (Oracle / MS SQL / MySQL);
- Experience with a major development platform (Java / J2EE, C# / .NET / Ruby on Rails);
- Experience with source code control (CVS / SVN / VSS);
- Experience with automated build/test frameworks.
Business Skills
- Understanding of enterprise level architecture;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot application issues;
- Worked with business units and many other diverse teams in collaboration;
- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Operate with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
- 2 years of software design and development, besides other domain experience.
