Senior Construction Management
Our Company is currently recruiting for SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT personnel to work in an EPC/M environment on a construction site in Alberta (Edmonton, Ft. Mac, and Calgary).
The candidate should have a strong technical and construction management background as well as good managerial skills, experience should include work on heavy industrial projects such as power supply facilities, large petrochemical plants and refineries, as well as oil and gas production facilities.
The successful candidate will, at the initial planning stages, create scope splits to effectively create contracts that will have a successful outcome. Once into the project, the Senior Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the project managers on each of the contracts as well as knowing what is happening on each project.
Requirements:
- At least 10-15 years of experience managing large scale, (in excess of $100 million), oil and gas or petrochemical construction or maintenance projects
- Relevant university degree or a trades background with equivalent proven experience.
- Capability to provide leadership and co-ordination to project team members.
- Ability to oversee the health and safety of contractors working on assigned projects
- Experience coordinating construction and commissioning activities in an operating plant environment
- Pay rates will be based on experience and current market standards.
