Service Billing Analyst

We are currently seeking an analytical professional for the position of Service Billing Analyst.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Business to Business Billing, you will perform reconciliation to ensure all files and reports are accurate and maintain records by continually updating files with applicable changes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that JD Edwards, Just1, and the service billing file are all reporting the same revenue and costs.
- Prepare and assist with various reports and reconciliations.
- Use JD Edwards Billing module to fix any errors, and prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts and analyze variances.
- Maintain effective working relationships with sites that utilize service billing and act as focal point for troubleshooting and solving problems that affect accounting.
- Update service billing job processes and procedures and research and suggest possible solutions.
- Create, set-up, analyze and maintain client billing rate tables.
- Our ideal candidate has two years accounts receivable/billings experience, preferably in the industrial construction sector. In addition, we require the candidate to have an accounting certificate or diploma or equivalent experience relating to accounts receivable/billings.
This position requires experience in computerized accounting environment and advanced knowledge of Excel, the ability to read and interpret contract information relative to commercial terms, the ability to adapt to a changing environment, strong accuracy and close attention to detail.
