Journeyman Ironworker
Structural Red Seal Req'd
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Overtime, Night
Salary: $35.14 hourly for 50 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits, As per collective agreement
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: CNRL Horizon, Alberta (10 vacancies)
Skill Requirements:
- Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Ironworker Trade Certification, Ironworker Red Seal Certificate, First Aid Certificate
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
- Major Work Area: Fabrication, New construction (Not pre-engineered), Re-vamp and renovation
- Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial
- Welding Techniques: ARC, Gas tungsten ARC (GTAW) (TIG)
- Specific Skills: Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints, Erect hoisting equipment, Install rigging
- Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Perform job-site calculations
